More Bows
Now that I have started buying yarn, I have also been working to find a space for all of the ribbon I have collected over the years. Here is a picture of the pile before I organized it to store it in a tub.
I made Purdue bows and special red, white, and blue bows for President's
Day and a Purdue girls' weekend. We brought the 3 youngest
Boilermakers and had a photo shoot! I also made the girls tutus.

Christmas Project
I found a project online that I wanted to complete for Ryan and I's moms for Christmas in 2010. When I didn't make it happen then, I still kept coming back to it for 2011. It is not a crochet or sewing project, but I fell in love. Ironically, I borrowed my mother-in-law's Cricut machine, got the paper, and got to work. It was well worth the time! Here are some pictures of the process and the finished product.
There is a set for each month. I am even surprised each month when they change them and I see them in the frames.

Hats
After I made the first hat I got inspired. I started looking at blogs, and crochet boards and got so many ideas, I couldn't keep up. I started with Santa hats and snowmen. Here are some of the hats I've done.
Crotcheting
I'm not sure what made me want to crochet, but one day while I was shopping at Wal-Mart and decided to buy some hooks and a skein of yarn. I tried to read a crochet book, but couldn't understand a word/abbreviation. So, I went to YouTube and "met" my new friend Teresa, The Crochet Geek.
First I learned how to do a few stitches.
Then I attempted the first hat. I was not terrible. Lucy wears it sometimes.
I have learned a lot since then! It's amazing what you can find on the Internet. It's fun telling people I learned to crochet from YouTube.

Lucy's Halloween Costume
I am not big into Halloween, but I am very big into coordinating
costumes. Rylan decided to be a football player this year, so that made
Lucy the football. She enjoyed it.
This costume can be costume made based on baby's size. It has velcro at the bottom so the baby's legs can be out for movement or to make it easier to use with the infant seat.
